Let Go of Fear
by Rev. Margo
It is time for us to work on letting go of our fears. It is
our fears that block us from our full potential. It is our
fears that make us more vulnerable. Imagine a life without
fear. We use so much of our energy in a day by trying to avoid
what we are afraid of or by being fearful and worried. Often
we find that we manifest more quickly now and when we sit in fear,
we manifest that which we are fearful of.
I have been working on this myself lately and I have noticed a big
change. Last week I was in a car accident. By staying in
the moment, I only felt fear for a second or so. Maybe not
even fear, more like surprise. When the accident was over, I
noticed that I was o.k. and in that moment there was no fear and
nervousness. I knew the car was damaged but did not get upset
or angry at the person who hit me and by the way (left the scene).
It did not ruin my day. I did not sit and worry about any
details of what happened and what needed to happen in the future.
I just went about my day (in joy) and life went on. When you
find yourself in a difficult situation, take stalk in the NOW.
Ask yourself, how am I right now? If the answer is I am well
and I am safe, then let go of your worries about the future and be
present with how you are right NOW. Bad things may happen but
they do not have to color your life, only the moment that they are
occurring. In the next moment, you have a new opportunity to
feel differently. Be in love, be in joy.
