Journey of the Heart, Peru 2008 October 18-27th A Journey of Deep Awakening and Communion with Nature You are invited to join International Spiritual teacher, Mirabai Devi and Internationally - known Mystic and Shaman, Margo Carrera as together, they lead a journey of soul awakening and profound personal transformation through the sacred land of PERU. They will be joined by James Williams OMD, author of the Andean Codex, who will be the Andean teacher.
Our earth wisdom teacher will be Sebastian, Q'ero Pago Shaman Elder. Ayni Karpay Initiation Ayni Karpay is the first step of the Andean initiation process on the path to becoming a Shaman in the lineage of the Q’ero Shamans. It is an introduction into earth-based, heart centered spirituality. In 2007 Sebastian Flores, a head elder of the Q’ero and one of the few remaining elders of the Q’ero Shamans, announced that according to their prophecy, it was now time to share their sacred knowledge. This is not the knowledge that has already been shared for years by the local Q'ero. In October of 2007, six people were called to receive this knowledge and were initiated on this first historical step. Margo Carrera was one of the six who answered this call and she is now sending out the call to the next group. Is this call for you? You must go deep into your heart to know and when you do, you must answer this call. The Path to Ayni as described in the book Andean Codex, as follows: "Ayni is the single most important concept in the Andean way. It is translated as reciprocity, the interchange of loving kindness, knowledge, and the fruits of one's labor between individuals, between humans and the environment, and between humans and nature spirits. Reciprocity implies that one's labor is shared: I will help you today, and tomorrow you might help me. The purpose of reciprocity is the maintenance of life."

Margo Carrera Margo is a internationally known transformation leader who assists humanity on their path to ascension. She has communicated with the nature spirits since childhood and has been taught by Shamans in the U.S. Mexico, and Peru. She has been taught from the Toltec lineage of Mother Sarita by Don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements, Rita Rivera, and Barbara Emrys. Her studies with Santiago and the Q'ero shamans of Peru has led to her become an initiate on the Path to Ayni by these shamans. She was one of the first people outside of their Q'ero tribe to receive this honor. This initiation was historical and also part of tribal prophecy. During
Margo's many journeys throughout the world, she has come to discover how
powerful nature is as a partner in the transformation process of humanity.
It is her desire to share her experience by reaffirming
humanity’s connection with the earth and utilizing this connection to
create transformation for the evolution of mankind. Mirabai Devi is an

James Williams, OMD, J. E.
Williams is a doctor of Oriental and naturopathic medicine, and his
shamanic training spans almost 40 years. In 1967, he lived a winter with
the Siberian Eskimo people of St. Lawrence Island where he was given the
name, Yupik, meaning “Eskimo,” or a true man. While in the Artic, in a
series of visions, he realized that a new, deeply mystical, eco-spiritual
path was emerging. Born from the indigenous traditions of North and South
America, it emphasizes balanced emotions, ethical discipline, wholesome
conduct, and thoughtful discernment. He was given the name El Nahautl
Santiago in Mexico in 1994, where he spent decades among brujas and
curanderas. In Peru, he is know as Don Santiago, and it is with this name
that he presents the shamanism and wisdom teachings learned over a
lifetime. After 28 years in California, he now lives in Sarasota, Florida,
but spends much of his time in the Peruvian upper Amazon and the Andes
among traditional indigenous shamans. In every journey to Peru, there is a calling. Listen to your heart. Are you being called? To answer the call: click here to e-mail Margo Carrera click here to e-mail Geraldine Gatehouse, Program Director
